WĀWĀMALU: Lit., shady valley (short for Awāwamalu). Placename, Sandy Beach, Waimānalo Ahupuaʻa, Kona District, Oʻahu. The area is commonly, and incorrectly, referred to as Hawaiʻi Kai. Our WĀWĀMALU Collection is inspired by the colors along the shoreline at Sandy Beach, including the green sand that occasionally peaks out in certain areas.
